PAXTON SCHULTE

Scout
Hockey Advisor
___________

A resident of Onoway, Alberta, Paxton has vast and diverse experience throughout all levels of hockey. Growing up in rural Alberta he worked his way up through various minor hockey organizations, up to and including the NHL. The road to the NHL is a colourful one, including the AMMHL, AJHL, NCAA, WHL and AHL. Paxton eventually finished his professional career playing in Europe, and a short stint in the CHL in the southern USA.

Paxton has filled many roles as a hockey player, from goal scorer to enforcer, from being the coach‘s favourite to sitting on bench. Relentlessly doing what’s necessary to support each team and different coach’s philosophies. This road has has lead to a lot of learned patience, perseverance and intricate understanding of the game and also what it takes to succeed as an athlete, business owner and life in general. He hopes to pass on his experiences, both life and hockey orientated, including the good, the bad and the ugly, allowing individuals to gain a solid perspective from first hand experience.

Paxton is still involved in the game he loves. He coaches, runs various types and levels of skills and drills camps, off-ice training, one on one skill development and for large groups as required. His love for farm life is still alive and well, as he helps out on his dad‘s bison farm, when he’s not busy at a rink.
